This automated lean cell platform was manufactured to build and full function test a throttle body for the automotive industry. This system was designed and built with a very aggressive schedule for performance and delivery that met the demand of the customer.

Rotary Dial Automation:

Automation machine used to assemble and leak test vales for the refrigeration industry.

Automated machine used to cut insulating material of varying thicknesses within .003”

Linear Transfer Automation:

Part is transferred utilizing a walking beam.

This automation system was designed and built to mass produce a consumer product. Utilizing a walking beam the machine transfers a pallet that holds sixteen assemblies, It automatically loads two components using vibratory feeder systems, dispenses an epoxy resin to bond the components together, oven cures the compound, cools the assemblies, leak tests the assemblies and automatically unloads the finished products. This system was built nearly 20 years ago and is still in service today.

Power & Free Automation:

General description, Both of these systems utilize a power & free conveyor to transfer the work from station to station.
